Plants selection

It is better to choose plants which like a constant moist in the ground. Plants like cactuses, succulents, orchids or sansevierias prefer to have dry ground most of the time. If you decided to go with this kind of plants anyway, please make sure that you do not completely fill up the glass container. Instead, once in a while, pour a little bit of water and let the ground dry completely, before adding more.

Care

If you have hard water in your tap after some time stone will collect on the glass walls of the water container. To remove the stone please follow these steps:
1. Take off the upper pot with the ground and plant. For example, you can place it temporarily in a regular cereal bowl.
2. Wash the container under the tap or in the dishwasher. We recommend rinsing it before placing in the dishwasher.
3. Use white vinegar to remove the remaining stone.
4. Rinse thoroughly before refilling with water.

Help! The wick does not seem to be working!

1. For the first time after potting your plant, do not forget to water it from the top.
2. If the ground in your pot dries out too much it can rise up and it will not be able to reach the wick. If that happens water the plant a little bit from the top to help it to restart the suction.
